The map shows two possible plans of building a new school for the town of Canterbury and two countryside areas (namely Chartham and Sturry).
The first plan is to build the new school in the countryside which is to the north-east of the town centre.
This would make it easy for students coming from Sturry to go to school because the new school would only be less than 5 kilometres away.
However, this plan would not be a good option for students coming from Chartham because they would have to travel a long distance to reach school..
The second plan is to build the new school in the south of the town centre.
This could be beneficial to students coming from Sturry, Chartham and also those living in the town centre.
Unfortunately, the centre of the Canterbury town is a no traffic zone, so parents could not drive their children all the way to school.
