The bar graph compares the figures for passengers using three big airports in New York City from 1995 to 2000. Overall, all three airports saw an increase, and LaGuardia airport had the highest number of passengers compared to the other airports, except for the year 1997.
Looking at the figure for John F.Kennedy airport, it stood at about 25 million people in 1995 and steadily rose to the peak of approximately 48 million people in 1997. Over the next 2 years, the number of John F.Kennedy airport’s visitors gradually dropped to about 32 million people. In 2000, this figure surged to approximately 44 million passengers.
Turning to the other airports, in 1995, the figure for passengers using LaGuardia airport and Newark airport stood at about 35 and 10 million people, respectively. LaGuardia airport’s visitors saw a steady increase to approximately 68 million people in 2000, while the figure for Newark airport rose to about 42 million people in 1998 and remained stable over the next 2 years.
